PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Models: 916H, 916R We narrowed the tiller, not it’s performance Keeping with the demand of the industry, Barreto Mfg. has narrowed its popular hydraulic tiller to just 16 inches. By moving the engine in line with the tiller body, we narrowed the engine tubular protection frame to only 18 inches wide, allowing the user to till in tighter places. Innovative The adjustable handlebar pivots to the side so the operator doesn’t have walk on the freshly tilled soil. The axel turns on ball bearings to increase efficiency. Heavy Duty The frame is made with the same 7 gage steel as our big tillers. All seams are double welded for strength and sealing as a Barreto standard. Proven Tine Drive The tine drive system on the 916 is the same proven design as the popular 918. Ball bearing support on each end of the tine shaft prevents excess radial load on the hydraulic motor shaft, and allows for easy tine motor removal. Bi-Directional Tines Tines will till in either forward or counter-rotating direction. Tines operate independently from wheels so that tilling travel speed can be easily adjusted to soil conditions.
